Mansory paints its Renovatio SLR black and white
German tuner Mansory has already made quite a splash with its tuning programs for the Bentley Continental GTC and Rolls Royce Phantom Conquistador. This time they reintroduce their weight-saving Renovatio program for the famous Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren supercar with a two-tone black&white paint job. Because the original Renovatio's color of fake gold was just too disgusting, I suppose.

Lexmaul tuning program for the Volvo C30 T5
Lexmaul has finally offered its first tuning program for the Volvo C30 T5 sporty three-door hatchback. Trying to make the C30 T5 an equal to the red-hot VW Golf GTI, the German tuner equipped the car with its own PPC ECU engine upgrade and a high-flow exhaust system adding extra 30hp and 80Nm of torque to the original 230hp and 320Nm of the turbocharged five-cylinder powerplant.

2009 Audi S3 will get a 7-speed DSG gearbox
The sporty 2009 Audi S3 (both the three-door hatchback and the five-door Sportback models) will soon get a trendy 7-speed twin-clutch S-Tronic DSG gearbox. While helping to drive down the vehicle's fuel consumption by 0.8 mpg from 33.2 to 34 mpg (6.92 L/100km), the new transmission will also increase the S3's recommended price by 4 - 5 percent.

Wald is readying the Nissan GT-R tuning kit
Japanese tuning specialist Wald International is working on a new Aero tuning kit for the still fresh Nissan GT-R sports car. While the new Club Sport package by NISMO is dealing with the vehicle's weight and suspension, Wald's kit will be mostly about the looks and aerodynamics.

2009 Subaru WRX will start at $24, 995
Subaru plans to charge as low as $24,995 and $25,595 respectively for the four-door and the five-door versions of its 2009 Subaru WRX sports car, which will target the latest Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart sports car. Sporting a retuned 2.5-liter flat-four engine with 265 hp and 244 lb.-ft. of torque, the car is only slightly more expensive over the last year model, but features an increase of 41 hp and 18 lb-ft over the 2008 WRX.
