The facelifted Mercedes-Benz CLS four-door coupe has been revealed almost a year ago. Now, the respected German automaker is trying to reignite interest to the model with introduction of a new, even more elegant version of the car. Meet the European-only 2009 Mercedes-Benz CLS Grand Edition!

Still saving hard-earned money for the Aston Martin One-77 monster of a car? Well, then Mercedes-Benz has got a good news for you: its long-awaited 2009 Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR Stirling Moss is heading to the production line, will be about two times less expensive than the Aston Martin, and will be even more exclusive since its production run will be limited to only 75 units. And it will possibly be the last SLR model developed by MB and McLaren.

Available for the whole range of 2009 Mercedes-Benz S-Class (perhaps, excluding only the Long versions of the luxury sedan), the new Carlsson RS appearance package doesn't even try to spoil the German design masterpiece. It only makes the car more exclusive and offers slightly better aerodynamics.

German tuner Kicherer has just revealed its new tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class luxury performance coupe, which includes a minor V12 biturbo engine upgrade, a body kit and some changes to the vehicle's interior and chassis.

The 2009 Mercedes-Benz S 320 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY luxury sedan consumes only 7.6 liters of diesel fuel per 100 km, which is 0.7 liters less than an ordinary S320 does. The level of CO2 emissions lowered to 199g/km, a 10 percent reduction over the standard car.

German tuner Mansory has already made quite a splash with its tuning programs for the Bentley Continental GTC and Rolls Royce Phantom Conquistador. This time they reintroduce their weight-saving Renovatio program for the famous Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren supercar with a two-tone black&white paint job. Because the original Renovatio's color of fake gold was just too disgusting, I suppose.

The long-awaited (at least, by some guys in the oil-reach countries) Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S is basically the same SLR Roadster featuring the 722 Edition and a canvas soft top folding roof.

Mercedes-Benz will soon officially reveal its S400 BlueHYBRID, which is the first hybrid-powered luxury car with the tri-star emblem on its hood. Equipped with a modified 3.5-liter 299hp V6 petrol engine and a disc-shaped 20hp electric motor, the car features the 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7.2 seconds and fuel consumption of only 7.9 liters per 100km (29.8 mpg).

German super-tuner Lorinser has just revealed its first tuning program for the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class coupe-convertible. Besides the usual highly-aggressive body kit, there is also a new set of wheels and rubber, and a customized exhaust system to give the facelifted SL a better voice and to pack a couple of more horses under its hood.

Okay, now we can make educated guesses on how the new E-Class will look like. Looking at the new Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION concept vehicle, which is set to be officially presented at the upcoming motor show in Paris, we can say that the new E-Class will kiss good-bye the good old round headlamps and replace them with the Lexus-style rhomboids.

Although the new Mercedes-Benz C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Prime Edition limited edition compact sedan sports an extensive list of interesting features, its main point is the new high-clean diesel engine. Consuming only 5.2 liters of diesel fuel per 100km (that roughly converts to impressive 45.2 mpg), the relatively small 2.2-liter oil-burner delivers 204hp and 500Nm of torque and takes only 7.0 seconds to accelerate the car from zero to 100km/h.

Right after revealing its Evo tuning kit for the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG super coupe, the German under-dog tuner Kicherer presented its tuning package for the Mercedes C320 CDI 4Matic station wagon.

Already having a 722hp engine upgrade kit for the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren 722 in its shop, the American super-tuner eventually came with another, even more extreme, tuning program.

Although sporting some minor tweaks to its telematics and available engines, the 2009 Mercedes-Benz G-Class aka Geländewagen is basically the same military-style luxury off-roader some of us have been dreaming of for the last 29 years.

Mercedes-Benz is due to start selling the next iteration of its popular CLK coupe-convertible later this year or in the beginning of 2009. So it's absolutely normal that sales are starting to stall and the company just have to offer some special edition version of the car to draw some public attention.
