2009 Buick Lucerne will run on E85
Committed to make half of its US production flex-fuel capable by 2012, General Motors keeps introducing new models running on normal gasoline, E85 bioethanol, or any combination of both types of fuel. Next year, 2009 Buick Lucerne will join GM's E85-capable Hummer H2, Chevrolet Silverado and Tahoe, as well as GMC Sierra and Yukon, just to name a few.

2008 Buick Lucerne Super will start at $39, 395
The 2008 Buick Lucerne Super premium sedan will be available in April at a recommended street price of $39,395 with a $765 destination charge included. Set to compete against the 2008 Hyundai Sonata, 2007 Hyundai Azera, as well as current VW Passat and 2008 Skoda Superb, the Lucern Super comes with a whole lotta set of standard equipment, usually available only as a costly option.

2008 Buick LaCrosse Super to see the light
There were a lot of rumors about new Buick LaCrosse Super, partially based on the well-received 2004 Buick Velite convertible concept vehicle. As Inside Line reported in March, the new LaCrosse Super could be the first sedan in the LaCrosse line, equipped with a V8 engine featuring about 300 hp. Now it seems that the rumors begin to find some ground.

2007 Buick LaCrosse: Chinese Only!
Chinese newspaper People's Daily Online reports that Shanghai GM, a joint venture between Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (SAIC) and General Motors, officially introduced its new Buick LaCrosse.

Although the car derives its architecture and design from 2005 Buick LaCrosse created for the American market, the Chinese version has been reengineered by the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC) to match specific needs of local consumers.
