Celebrating its 16th victory in the Formula 1 Constructors Cup, Italian automaker revealed its open-top version of the Ferrari F430 Scuderia sports car. Called Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M, the new vehicle is about 80kg lighter than the original coupe sporting impressive power to weight ratio of 2.6 kg/hp and delivering mind-blowing 0-100km/h acceleration time of only 3.7 seconds.

Citing substantial customers' demand (about 10 percent of those buying a Ferrari insist on equipping it with a manual gearbox), the Italian company finally promised to add an optional manual transmission to its upcoming California convertible. Base model will still be equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Italian carmaker has just revealed some info on its new Ferrari California. Equipped with a 460 hp 4.3-liter mid-front placed V8 engine with direct fuel injection, the convertible fits neatly between the entry-level F430 and more advanced Ferrari 612 Scaglietti model.
