Nissan has just revealed some information about its new GT-R super coupe set to conquer North American and European highways. Looks like the European version of the car, which will have to face strong competition from the Porsche 911 Turbo, Audi R8 and BMW M3, will be a tad superior to the model destined to arrive to Nissan's dealerships in the U.S.

The next-generation Nissan Teana premium sedan was unveiled this weekend at the motor show in Beijing, China. Set to arrive to dealerships by the end of the year, the luxury sedan will replace the 2004 Teana. It is still an opened question whether the car will also replace Teana's sibling -- the 2007 Nissan Maxima.

The Commercial Vehicle Show has just closed its doors in Birmingham but Nissan successfully managed to cease the opportunity to get the local public acquainted with its small but powerful NP300 pickup truck. Equipped with a 2.5-liter, 133 bhp and 304Nm (224 lb-ft) Euro 4 compliant diesel engine, which seems to be adequate to the vehicle's max payload of 1115kg (2457 lbs), the vehicle will be available in three trims -- Single cab, king cab and double cab.

The 2007 Nissan 350Z coupe and roadster will be slightly more expensive than the previous model. Equipped with a more powerful engine, the 350Z Coupe and 350Z Roadster will cost you respectively £26,795 and £28,295 on the road. That's only £300 more than before and about one third of the price increase comes courtesy of increased road tax (plus £90) and the first registration fee (plus £12).

The new rear-wheel drive Nissan NISMO 350Z may be looking not as cute as the "ordinary" Nissan 350Z does, but it's surely more powerful and agile than its sibling. Featuring new aerodynamics package and sportier handling equipment, the new NISMO 350Z will be available only with a six-speed manual gearbox mated to a mighty V6 engine.

Nissan has announced pricing on its new 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid sedan. Starting at $24,400, the gasoline-electric vehicle will feature EPA fuel economy of 42 mpg City and 36 mpg Highway cycle. The vehicle is subject to a tax credit of $2,350 in all the Green states that have adopted California emissions regulations.

The 2007 Nissan Altima will cost at least two hundred dollars more than the previous model. While the outgoing 2006 Altima started at only $18,365 the 2007 MY Altima with comparable characteristics will set you back at $18,565, shipping included. For the money you'll get 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5 with a manual six-speed transmission as the only choice.

Sticker for the face-lifted 2007 Nissan Sentra will be put significantly higher from that for the current model which start at the base price of $13,805. Nissan plans to offer its redesigned Sentra equipped with a manual gearbox for impressive $15,365, further raising the price for a trim with automatic to hefty $16,265.

Some cars just can't be too cute. Take the new Nissan Micra for example. Not that I like it too much, but I would pretty much like one of these cuties for my wife, instead of the Hummer H2 she expects for her next birthday. Blokes at ELIA think that their new tuning kit for the Micra will bring it some additional sex appeal. Well...

The first of new Nissan's global car's family was unveiled today at the 2006 Guangzhou International Motor Show in China. The new Nissan Livina Geniss MPV, able to carry up to seven passengers, is powered by a 1.8 MR18DE four-cylinder gasoline engine. The Nissan Livina Geniss will be assembled at Dongfeng Motor Co.'s Huadu plant in Guangdong Province.

Nissan plans to introduce a special version of its Micra C+C open-top city car, developed in cooperation with London designer Sebastian Conran. The C+C+Conran concept car, based on the 1.6 Nissan Micra C+C Essenza, features some new colors and trims that soon may be available on other Nissan vehicles.

Although the car sports significant increase in power output and substantial chassis modifications, it still remains quite a comfortable daily work horse that you can use to bring yourself from home to office and back, Leftlane News reports.

The new Japanese hybrid will be initially sold only in eight states of the U.S. Citing lack of demand on hybrid vehicles that usually cost $3,000 more than a similar model that runs on gasoline, Nissan decided to offer its new Nissan Altima Hybrid in California, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, Maine and New Jersey, as reported by Bloomberg.
