It's been a year and a half since the original Land Rover Discovery Series 3 / LR3 official introduction, so it's definitely a time to refresh things here and there. Set to arrive to local dealerships in August 2008, the face-lifted Disco 3 will be presented to the public at the British International Motor this July.

German tuning specialist Arden keeps on experimenting with the new L322 Range Rover. This time they took Jaguar's 400 hp 4.4-liter engine, tinkered with it a little and then successfully transplanted it into the SUV in question.

Looks like the coupe SUV crossovers is the next big thing. BMW will certainly be ahead of its major competitors but Land Rover will definitely try to make it to the market as the second automaker with this strange kind of highway-bound off-road vehicle available.

Land Rover North America has officially introduced the 2008 Land Rover LR2 HSE premium SUV. You'll notice the Land Rover HSE in the morning traffic with the help of its color-keyed bumpers and side sills, a rear spoiler, titanium door handles and 19-inch aluminum alloys. Inside, the HSE will feature 8x6-way power adjustable seats and a storage box with a sliding cover.

The new tuning program for the Range Rover Sport executive-class SUV by Arden makes the vehicle stronger in the literal sense. The tuned-up version of the SUV now features 520 horsepower and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque, which is enough to uproot trees in the Amazonian rain forests.

Although receiving some major enhancements to its interior and drivetrain, the old-new Land Rover Defender preserves its military spirit and orthogonal body style. The only change to the exterior is the SUV's new bonnet, designed to fit the Defender's new 2.4-liter diesel engine with common rail fuel injection system.

Land Rover plans to unveil the redesigned Freelander (oh, sorry, it's the LR2 now) at the upcoming British Motor Show in London. Guys at Land Rover seem to be good learners. Gracefully admitting their initial failure to offer American customers a decent entry-level premium SUV they managed to create a brand new model that does look more appealing to an American eye.
