Replacing the manual with a five-speed automatic will increase the 2009 Honda Fit's price tag to more impressive $16,020, but at the same time will improve its fuel economy rating from 27/33/29 mpg in the city/highway/combined cycles to 28/35/31 mpg respectively.

Honda has officially commenced assembly of its long-awaited FCX Clarity green vehicle. Powered by an advanced hydrogen fuel cell system, the car's production will be limited to just a few dozens of units per year. Only 200 cars will be built within the next three years.
