German tuning specialist Eibach, which is mostly known for its performance suspension kits, has revealed its own tuning program for the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8. Don't look surprised, the list of modifications is mostly focused around the Challenger's suspension.

German tuning specialist GeigerCars that already has high-voltage versions of the Corvette Z06, Ford F650 and even the Hummer H2 GT (this one was fitted with a pair of Lambo-doors), has finally offered its first tuning program for the furious 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 muscle car.

It looks like Chrysler finally starts to feel somewhat uncomfortable with all these hybrids and electric vehicles speeding to the North American market. With the 2011 Chevy Volt scheduled to enter the market by the end of 2010, Chrysler is reportedly hurrying up to bring its own range of electric cars, including a sporty Dodge EV.

American muscle-cars get greener. Although sporting a huge 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine, which is mated to a not-so-hip five-speed automatic and is capable of producing 368hp and 395 lb-ft (536 Nm) of torque, the 2009 AWD Dodge Charger retro-styled sports sedan can travel up to one extra mile on a single gallon of gasoline thanks to its ability to switch between the RWD and AWD modes.

While not as extremist as the an in-house tuned Dodge Challenger drag race package, the new SRT8 tuned by Hurst and set to be unveiled during the next SEMA show, will nevertheless feature a formidable 500hp engine and will still be a totally street-legal car.

That's for the base 2009 Dodge Ram model with the $900 destination charge included. More upscale Quad Cab truck will be priced at $26,225 and the top of the line Crew 1500 will start at impressive $32,530 but will feature a weatherproof RamBox cargo management system, a pair of store-in-the-floor storage bins with removable liners, speed control, remote keyless entry, heated mirrors and 17-inch painted aluminum wheels. Wow.

Chrysler's autoparts supplying arm Mopar revealed first official detail on the recently announced drag race package for the Dodge Challenger muscle car. Featuring a choice of 6.1-liter or 5.7-liter HEMI or 5.9-liter Magnum Wedge engines, the package may come with either automatic or a manual transmission.

Learning on GM's mistakes, Chrysler is putting a much more humble price stick on its upcoming 2009 Dodge Durango HEMI Hybrid SUV. According to the company's press release, the vehicle will start at a pretty much affordable $45,340, which is about $5000 less expensive than GM's Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid and GMC Yukon Hybrid SUVs.

Chrysler is indeed going to release a drag-racing package for its Dodge Challenger sports car. Set to reach dealerships in July, the new tuning kit will do for both professional racers and enthusiasts. The package will probably consist of a lighter-weight chassis, which is about 800 pounds (363 kg) lighter than the original car, a number of different versions of the current 5.9-liter HEMI and Magnum engines mated to either automatic or manual gearboxes.

The yet to come to dealerships 2009 Dodge Challenger SE will probably start as low as $23,995 for the base version.

The most powerful version of the retro-styled muscle car, the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, will be available for orders from December 3.

Working class has just received another powerful and, one must admit, handsomely looking tool. The 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan Cargo Van offers stronger suspension for heavier cargo, dual sliding doors, 143.8 cubic feet of cargo volume space, odor- and stain-resistant cloth fabric, and, what is the most important, lots of cup-holders and storage areas.

Chrysler has finally revealed the price stick for the new Dodge Caliber SRT4 sporty hatchback. Equipped with a powerful 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, an electronically tuned Brake Lock Differential and Getrag DMT-6 six- speed transmission, the SRT4 will start at $22,995 (including $560 destination), which is $195 more than the new Mazdaspeed3 wagon costs (depends on a market, though). Does it look like a bargain to you?

Chrysler has officially started 356 days countdown to show to general public the production version of its 2009 Dodge Challenger. The monster vehicle will be unveiled during the Chicago Auto Show in February next year.

Clearly inspired by Dodge Viper (front) and the latest Audi TT Roadster (back), the new Dodge Demon Concept will presumably be two to three times less demanding to its owner's wallet size and driver's skills. The concept car is said to be officially unveiled during the upcoming Motor Show in Geneva.
