The 2009 Skoda Octavia was officially presented today at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. Being Skoda's best selling model so far, the updated Octavia has received new one-piece front bumper fascia, more elaborately shaped headlamps, and a slightly modified corporate grille.

The British Autocar magazine claims that the Skoda Yeti small SUV will finally make it to assembly line. Set to reach Skoda's dealerships by mid-2009, the mini SUV will have virtually zero rivals.

Skoda's upcoming flagship model will come equipped with an innovative tailgate opening system, called TwinDoor. It is, actually, a single door but it can be opened in two ways: like a normal trunk lid or like a rear hatch, making accessing the 565 liters of cargo space a little bit easier.

Based on the current Volkswagen Passat and targeted against the new Ford Mondeo, the upcoming 2008 Skoda Superb executive sedan will offer its prospective owners so much living space and comfort features that it very well may rival its bigger brother.

Set to compete against the new Renault Clio Estate / Sport Tourer, the Skoda Fabia Estate will offer superior payload capacity and roomier interior space. The Czech automaker will take advantage of the upcoming IAA motor show in Frankfurt to present the station wagon version of its popular small hatchback.

Based on the good old Volkswagen Golf V platform, the new Skoda Octavia Scout compact station wagon is trying to fill the niche, which is for some unknown reason left vacant by Audi. It is a budget version of the *sigh* imaginary Audi A4 Allroad luxury vehicle.
