The new limited edition Toyota HiLux pickup truck will be officially revealed at the upcoming Commercial Vehicles auto show in Birmingham, UK. Sporting a huge 3.0-liter D-4D diesel engine with a power upgrade, the limited edition vehicle reduces the 0-62mph acceleration time by 2.5s to 10.5seconds. Impressive, but that's not what you are buying trucks for, right?

2008 Toyota LandCruiser to be unveiled in Sydney
The 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series will be unveiled in October at the upcoming motor show in Sydney, Australia. Just like its more luxurious sibling, the 2008 Lexus LX 570, the new LandCruiser will be available with a couple of powerful V8 engines working on either gas or diesel fuel. Toyota has presented its new 2008 Toyota Vanguard mid-size SUV. Positioned somewhere between the 2008 RAV4 and Highlander, the Vanguard is 179.9 inches long and about 66.9 inches wide and may be ordered in either five- or five-plus-two seating formula (I'm afraid, you just can't call a seven-seater a car, which is 20 inches shorter than, say, Audi Q7 or Mercedes Benz GL-Class that are not real seven-seaters themselves).

2008 Toyota Highlander hybrid will start at $33, 700
It took Toyota half a year to make its mind as to the 2008 Toyota Highlander hybrid SUV's price and specifications. Anyway, it's now officially confirmed that the crossover will be presented in two trim levels -Base and Limited- and there won't be a front-wheel-drive model: all hybrid-powered Highlanders will be equipped with AWD powertrain.
