Ford Focus Coupe-Cabriolet: some additional info
There is some more information about the upcoming Ford Focus Coupe-Cabriolet, unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. What Car reports that the new transformable vehicle will come to showrooms this October and will compete against such vehicles as Opel/Vauxhall Astra TwinTop and .



The entry level Ford Focus Coupe-Cabriolet will feature a mediocre 99 bhp 1.6-liter petrol engine. Don't you expect anything exciting from it, because it provides the car with a top speed of 114 mph but takes the whole lifetime (13.6 seconds to be more specific) to reach 62 mph. Its only advantage is its mileage, Ford hopes that the car will go about 39.8 miles on a gallon.

The 143 bhp 2.0-liter petrol engine provides the Coupe-Cabriolet with a 3.3 seconds better acceleration and reaches a top speed of 130 mph. Expect a 37.6 mpg.

A 134bhp 2.0-liter diesel features the same zero to 62 mph time but provides with 47.9 mpg.

The final specifications and prices for the UK will be announced during the British Motor show in July.
