A pair of new Marcos TSO supercars unveiled in London
With chassis engineered and manufactured by Prodrve, lightweight composite body from Millfield Composites, a 420 bhp aluminum V8 outsourced from GM's Corvette, and with a total lack of either airbags and ABS, both TSO GTC sports coupe and TSO R/T open top grand tourer are the ultimate driver's cars. Or are they both capsules of death or something?

In its press release, Marcos calls the two-seat TSO GTC a 'classic' British sports coupe. The car comes with real racing suspension, racing brakes and working rear diffuser.

The TSO R/T open top is a more civilized version of the car, featuring dial removable roof panels, touring suspension, cargo nets and premium sound.

Both vehicles are equipped with a 420 horsepower V8 mated with a six-speed manual gearbox. Those, who may feel a deficit of power output, may also order a 462 bhp Performance Pack, which lets the car reach zero to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and accelerate from zero to 100 mph in 8.5 seconds. Impressive 340 m AP Racing brakes let one somehow control this power, allowing a 0-100-0 time of 12.9 seconds.

Marcos also claims that both cars feature 50 to 70 mph time of 2.1 seconds and a top speed of over 185 mph.

Both Marcos TSO GTC and TSO R/T will come to dealers this summer. Their base price is set at £49,950 and £53,950 respectively.
