2007 Acura RDX to cost $33,610
Designed to compete against BMW's X3 model, the new Acura RDX sports Acura's first turbocharged and intercooled four-cylinder in-line engine, capable to produce a maximum of 240 horsepower with only 2.4 liters of displacement.
In a standard package Acura RDX, which comes to U.S. dealers on August 10 with a base price of $33,610, will feature a power moonroof, leather interior, dual-zone climate control and 7-speaker premium sound system. Not too much, but for some additional money (something around $3,500) one will get such this little SUV with such luxury options as perforated leather seats, voice-recognition system, a rearview camera, Acura's communications system and a DVD audio- and XM-enabled 10-speaker Acura Surround Premium Sound System and GPS-linked, solar-sensing, dual-zone climate control system.
Acura plans to sell about 16,000 RDXs by the end of the current year and 40,000 vehicles more during the whole 2007.
