Prices For the New Volkswagen EOS Convertible Announced
British customers now able to order the Volkswagen EOS convertible coupe for as low as £19,385. For this money they will get an inline-6 2-liter gasoline engine that produces maximum of 259 hp and is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission. The standard package also includes 16-inch alloy wheels, ESP, twin front airbags, combined curtain and side impact airbags, semi-automatic air-conditioning, fog-lights, electric windows, heated adjustable door mirrors, a radio/CD player and parking sensors.

ITV Motoring is also saying that a more expensive 'sport' version of the Eos can be ordered with 17" alloy wheels, better suspension and sound system, tire pressure monitoring system and some fancy aluminum décor. These models will be delivered to buyers in July.

Later this year VW plans to start shipping even more expensive Volkswagen EOS equipped with 247bhp 3.2-litre V6 engine that will be controlled an advanced DSG automatic transmission (just like the new Audi TT roadsters), which will be optional in the TDI (138bhp) and the only available choice for the V6.
