$7K Beauty Leopard set to attack Europe
Chinese car manufacturer Geely Automobile has announced its plans to introduce its Beauty Leopard sports coupe to European customers. Although Chinese vehicles still carry a burden of inferior quality and ugly design, Beauty Leopard has one undeniable advantage over its local competitors: the price.

While most of the European performance vehicle cost much more than €20,000, the Chinese company plans to offer its Beauty Leopard for as low as $7,500 and the top of the range model will set some poor guy back for $15,000 only. For this money one can order a car with 1.3- or 1.5-liter 16-valve engine cloned from Toyota's models and mated to a five-speed manual or automatic transmission gearbox developed by Geely itself.

It's still not known how good the coupe will fare in the European and North American safety tests, but the company says that the Beauty Leopard will comply with the standards, Inside Line reports.
