Steinmetz tunes Opel Astra TwinTop
The new Steinmetz's tuning program for the latest Opel Astra TwinTop convertible does not only look stylish and cool. It also features a decent engine upgrade, balancing muscular appearance with some real power.

Steinmetz adds extra power to both diesel and gasoline engines. Astra's 2.0 turbo's maximum power output pumped up from standard 200 to more impressive 230 hp, and its maximum torque has risen from 262 @4200 rpm to 302 Nm @ 4400 rpm. The 1.9 CDTI now delivers 175 hp instead of its original 150 hp and produces maximum torque of 380 Nm -- that's 65 Nm more than an unmodified engine can give.

With all these upgrades, the Opel Astra TwinTop's top speed has risen from standard 230 to 238 and from 208 to 212 respectively.

The most interesting part of the aerodynamic package is the new two-piece rear spoiler. Although, looking a little bit exotic and subtle, the new Steinmetz's spoiler provides the TwinTop's rear axle with additional down force and at the same time does not hurt one's eyes, looking just like it was meant to be there from the very beginning.

Of course, there is also a set of bicolor wheel and tyre combinations, available in different sizes from 16" to 19".
