Abt tunes Audi Q7: take two
Abt Sportsline has unveiled its another tuning program for the new Audi Q7 SUV. Playing around Q7's muscular body, Abt, as usual, has limited itself on adding just some subtle touches to its fenders, side skirts and front grille, as well as introducing a high-contrast black-and-orange color scheme to highlight the applied modifications.
Abt has also introduced some changes to the Q7's 3.0-liter TDI diesel powerplant, boosting its maximum power output from 233 to 272 hp and revving it maximum torque from 500 to 580 Nm. A double twin-pipe exhaust system with 84 mm pipe diameter was also added to give the supercharged engine some more breathing space and to make the changes more visually impressive.
The Abt AS7 may be ordered with 20- or 22-inch alloy wheels with tyres 275/45 R20 or 295/30 R22 Conti CrossContact. Another wheel option is the 22-inch SP-wheel.
There is still no info about AS7's price or technical characteristics.
