SL600-based Brabus SV12 S Biturbo roadster
Brabus, one of the major Mercedes' tuners out there, has just unveiled specs of its new SL600-based SV12 S Biturbo roadster, catering to those power-hungry motorists who have an extra buck in their pockets.

The monster roadster is capable to jump from zero to 62 mph in just 4.0 seconds and reaches 124 mph in 10.5 seconds. The vehicle's top speed is electronically limited at 217 mph (350 km/h).

Such a high dynamics has been achieved through various engine modifications, such as increasing its displacement from 5.5 to 6.3 liters, as well as turbocharging the system with two larger turbochargers and more efficient intercoolers. Of course, Brabus' developers had to remap the engine's electronics and on-board diagnostics system to make it feel more comfortable near such a monster underhood.

All these enhancements have pushed the V12's power output from humble 517 hp @ 5,000 rpm to much more impressive 730 hp. And the engines pulling power grew from 830 Nm to 1,320 Nm, which, yes, was also electronically limited to "just" 1,100 Nm.

There are also some changes to the SL600's native aerodynamic kit as well as to its interior and wheels, but they are here to make an 'I have more money than you, you, poor Ford driver' statement, so it's not really interesting.
