The new Audi S4 Cabriolet will start at $56, 420
Audi set prices for its new S4 cabrios, planning to charge at least $56,420 for a model with a six-speed manual, and $57,620 for an S4 with a six-speed Tiptronic. That's pretty heavy, since the standard 2007 A4 Cabriolet will start at $39,820, the $720 destination charge included.

In its press release, Audi says that all the new vehicles now feature the same general styling, including that single-frame corporate grille.

The cabriolets will receive new engines, as well. The A4 2.0 T model will come with a 200 hp turbocharged 4-cylinder FSI direct injection engine, which can be mated to either a Multitronic continuously variable transmission and FrontTrak, or with a six-speed Tiptronic and Quattro AWD system.

The A4 3.2 Cabriolet sports a 255 horsepower V6 FSI engine and comes with a six-speed Tiptronic and Quattro in standard package. Much more powerful S4 models feature the new 4.2-liter V8, producing a maximum of 340 hp. The S4s may be ordered with either a six-speed manual or Tiptronic automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
