RUF has launched its Porsche 911-based R Kompressor
This is done with the help of a supercharged 3.8-liter Kompressor engine. Based on a standard flat-six 6-cylinder 24-valve powerplant, it adds a pair of water-cooled intercoolers and a centrifugal Kompressor with planetary gearbox, with additional cooling provided from a separate water cooler at the front spoiler.

Thanks to the superchargers, the RUF R Kompressor achieves 435 hp of maximum power output reached at 7,000 rpm and features a peak torque of 347 lb-ft (470 Nm) at 5,000 rpm.
