As I have already mentioned the last Wednesday, the Shelby GT will be assembled in Flat Rock, Michigan, and then shipped to the Shelby Automobiles facility on Las Vegas, where they will undergo a series of extensive modifications before they receive the Shelby GT plate.

The modifications include increasing the maximum power output of the naturally aspirated, three-valve 4.6-liter V8 to 325 horsepower and 330 lb-ft (447 Nm) of torque. This is done with the Ford Racing Power Pack, which includes a 90 millimeter cold-air intake and high-flow exhaust system with X-pipe crossover. The engine can be mated with a five-speed manual transmission with a Hurst short-throw shifter.

Talking 'bout the exterior, the car will be delivered only as a coupe and only in two colors, Performance White of Black with silver racing stripes extended over the hood, roof, and trunk. There is also new hood scoop, as well as the brushed-aluminum grille, and 18-inch wheels with P235/55ZR18 high-performance tires.

The car will be offered in four horsepower options, with pricing from $19,995 for a 240-hp V6 Mustang coupe to $46,500 for a 500-hp Shelby GT500 convertible.
