Lexus presents the 2007 SC430 Pebble Beach Edition hardtop convertible
Probably, not having enough time or inspiration to give the SC a new design, Lexus has made yet another attempt on 'refreshing' an already stinking corpse of current SC430, originally introduced more than five years ago. Aren't they tired of those refreshments themselves? Well, anyway, meet the new and shiny 2007 Lexus SC430 Pebble Beach Edition hardtop convertible.

Anyways, celebrating its partnership with the Pebble Beach Company, Lexus introduces the fourth version of its SC430 Pebble Beach Edition hardtop convertible.

The convertible, one of the best in class concerning its driving dynamics and comfort, will be presented at the annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Lexus Fashion Preview, which is scheduled on Friday, August 18th.

Not willing to fix something that isn't broken, Lexus did not introduce any changes to the SC430's electronics or mechanics, limiting refreshments to the convertible's exterior and interior design.

The car is painted in a charming Starfire Pearl color, also featuring much more aggressive 18-inch G-Spider alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, and two sets of run-flat tires, made to run either in summer or all-season. There are also some nice touches, added to the SC430's interior, alas giving the car a pretty 'girlish' look.
