
2007 Dodge Nitro launched
Chrysler has officially launched its 2007 Dodge Nitro mid-size SUV. The vehicle will be produced at the group's Toledo North Assembly Plant, known for its Jeep Liberty SUVs.
The Dodge Nitro was first unveiled last February and it took Chrysler six months to commence production of the 'ute.
As it was noted back then, the Nitro will be presented with a choice of two V6 engines with displacement of 3.7 and 4.0 liters and capable of producing 210 and 255 horsepower respectively. There will also be a diesel powerplant but only for the overseas markets.
The 2007 Dodge Nitro will cost somewhere between $21,000 and $32,000 depending on the trim, type of gearbox and additional options, such as a SIRIUS satellite receiver and so on.
