Four-door Peugeot 307 Sedan to be introduced in Spain
Trying to outdo its main rivals -- the Renault Megane, VW Jetta and the Ford Focus -- Peugeot plans to introduce a sedan version of its 307 four-door hatchback. Well, it is not exactly sedan: it seems that guys at Peugeot's design department have simply added a larger luggage compartment to a normal hatchback, just like it was done with Renault's Clio Symbol model.

According to Autoblog.it, the Peugeot 307 Sedan will be assembled at Peugeot's plant in Argentina and equipped with 'classic' 1.6 and 2.0 gasoline engines and a couple of HDI diesel engines of the same displacement, producing a maximum of 110, 143, 110 and 136 hp respectively.

But of course, the most interesting (and the ugliest, after all) part of the vehicle is its luggage compartment. Although, exceeding 500 dm3 in its total volume, this part of the car looks just plain awful and it is still a big question, whether the car will be popular among Spaniards. Well, may be it will be popular in Russia, where they still worship cars capable to carry an extra sack of potatoes.

The 307 Sedan will, presumably, be available to the Spanish customers starting November. The price is yet to be announced.
