2007 Jaguar XKR convertible will cost $92, 500
Jaguar North America has announced that the forthcoming Jaguar XKR Coupe and Convertible will cost the U.S. customers $86,500 and $92,500 respectively. These are the basic prices, given without the value of additional packages.

For the money, XKR's buyers will get their British cats with 19-inch wheels, six-speed automatic gearboxes with F1-style paddle shifters, an Active Exhaust System and uprated springs and dampers.

Both Jaguar XKR Coupe and Convertible will be available with the same supercharged V8 capable to produce a maximum of 420 hp @ 6,250 rpm and 413 lb-ft (560 Nm) of torque, which is enough to accelerate the XKR from zero to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds.

Those, who consider the standard version too cheap and democratic, may also want to order three additional packages, including a $2,100 Luxury Package (better leather, power seats and leather-trimmed instrument panel), a $1,875 Premium Sound Package (Alpine 525-watt, 8-speaker system with SIRIUS satellite radio), and an Adaptive Cruise Control for $2,200.
