2007 Porsche Cayenne gets off the product line
Citing slowing consumer's demand and, hence, supply glut, Porsche has announced a decision to stop production of the current Porsche Cayenne premium SUV till the new model arrives. In the meantime, dealerships will have to sell the remaining 2006 Cayennes.
AutoWeek is reporting, that Porsche's dealers in the U.S. and Canada have 'adequate stock' of Cayennes, including the latest Porsche Cayenne S Titanium Edition, introduced in mid-June to revive sales of the dying model.
There is, in fact, no sense in introducing a 2007 Porsche Cayenne, because its life cycle will be too short. Porsche plans to officially present 2008 Cayenne next January during the upcoming Detroit auto show.
