2007 Mini Cooper to feature iDrive? OMG!

New navigation system to be installed on the redesigned MINI will include the infamous BMW's iDrive computer interface controller, whether you hate it or not.







The interface, MotoringFile is reporting, will be slightly different than that present in the 'bigger' Bimmers. There will be only three tabs on the main screen: "entertainment", "communication" and "navigation", and a link for set-up. Fortunately, climate control will be managed via the standard interface.

BMW will also offer a new voice interface, to be activated by a dedicated button on the steering wheel.
