2007 Mitsubishi Pajero: sumo wrestler on a diet
So, the 2007 Mitsubishi Pajero/Shogun sheds some extra fat to make visible its outstanding muscles. Why? Because, although spectacular and, er, very ethnic, sumo has a serious drawback: the most advanced athletes in most cases die young because of too much fat lying on their hearts, suffocating them.
The new refreshed Mitsubishi Pajero to be officially unveiled to the general public during the upcoming motor show in Paris, not also gains new, more lean and clean body, but also features an impressive set of interior and mechanical upgrades.
For example, the SUV may be ordered with an optional 860-watt Rockford 12-speaker sound system and a new 3.2-liter CRD diesel four-banger or a 3.8-liter MIVEC V6 transferring their power to the wheels via a new 4WD Super Select 4WD-II transmission with both ASTC and the rear differential lock available.
Unfortunately, the new Pajero won't wear the Montero badge, since Mitsubishi has decided to stop selling the model on the U.S. market, WorldCarFans.com is reporting.
