The new tuning program for the
Range Rover Sport executive-class SUV by Arden makes the vehicle stronger in the literal sense. The tuned-up version of the SUV now features 520 horsepower and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque, which is enough to uproot trees in the Amazonian rain forests.
It's not exactly clear to me, why for Earth's sake one spends a hundred grants for an SUV and then pulls out another bunch of cash comparable to the national debt of Liberia just to get rid of the damned vehicle's off-road capabilities and to make it look more like a Porsche after a long Gold's Gym season. Nevertheless, here we go: the Range Rover Sport AR6 Stronger tuned by the German Arden super-tuner.
Arden's tuning program consists of three parts: an appearance kit, an engine upgrade and interior enhancements.
The kit is made of carbon-fiber and includes new rear and front bumpers with air ducts, new front a rear wings as well as a new hood and side skirts, designed as to give more place to the huge 295/30 R22 tires put on ten-spoke light alloy wheels. New set of larger brakes sports 6-piston fixed calipers at the front and 4-piston fixed calipers at the rear.
As to the engine, its displacement has been increased from the original 4.2 to 4.8 liters, so the Range Rover now possesses of 520 of horsepower reached at 5800 rpm and of stunning 680 Nm of torque available at 3600 rpm. The power is just enough to catapult the British monster from zero to 62 mph in just 6.1 seconds. The top speed is 168 mph (270 km/h).
