Chevrolet Equinox Fuel Cell crossover to arrive soon
New Chevrolet Equinox Fuel Cell full-size crossovers to be unveiled early next year. Only a hundred of the green vehicles powered by the next-generation fuel cells will be delivered to customers. If you want one, you'd better place your order right now.
The test hydrogen-powered Chevrolets, WorldCarFans.com is reporting, will be delivered only to three geographic areas of the United States: California, Washington D.C. and the New York metropolitan area. So, it's clear that General Motors wants to test the new technology in different weather conditions.
The company says that all hydrogen-powered Chevrolet Equinox Fuel Cells are engineered to run for at least 50,000 miles and being able to operate in sub-freezing conditions.
All crossovers are equipped with such standard safety features as driver and passenger frontal air bags and roof rail side-impact air bags; ABS; StabiliTrak stability enhancement technology and OnStar.
No info on price yet.
