The engine boasts a peak torque of 310 Nm and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, capable to provide the hot
Megane with zero to 62 mph acceleration of 6.2 seconds (0.1 faster than the 225 Cup) and cover 1000-meter street start in just 26.6 seconds.
In Britain, the new
Renault Megane Renaultsport 230 F1 Team R26 will be available for order at the end of the month and will cost only £19,570. The vehicle's insurance group rating is 17, Askaprice is
reporting.
