2007 Land Rover Discovery 3 (Disco 3) goes to dealers
The redesigned Land Rover Disco 3 of the MY2007 has finally gone on sale and, although its sticker price has been heightened due to higher costs of production, one shall definitely get the value for money.
The price increase is justified by some improvements, either necessary to homologate the SUV for the European market or to make it more comfortable for the driver.
The first of all, the new Land Rover Disco 3 has received new TDV6 engine, revised as to suite EU4 strict CO2 emission guidelines and to make for better mileage. List of options has also been widened with such pleasantries as rear park distance control system, which is now available to order even with the entry-level Discovery 3 GS model, as well as with a completely new for the model range tire pressure monitoring system (£385) and one-touch opening passenger power window.
But what is the most interesting, is that the new Land Rover Discovery 3 can be ordered with an exclusive Land Rover Watch anti-theft car-tracking system. Available from £999 a year, the completely autonomous system achieves Thatcham Category 5 accreditation and gives some protection against those thieves, who prefer to work with cars' original keys.
