Audi TT Roadster officially unveiled
Audi has at last unveiled perhaps one of the most exciting trims of the new TT -- the Roadster. Coming in two modifications, Audi TT Roadster will be available with either a powerful 3.2-liter, 250 horsepower V6 working with Quattro AWD, or a less daring 2.0-liter, 200 hp TFSI engine set to motivate the Roadster via a FWD system.
Both engines are mated with either a six-speed manual, or with Audi's prominent S-tronic (aka DSG) dual-clutch gearbox.
As it was expected, the TT Roadster will be manufactured with soft roof only because there is simply not enough space in its trunk to hide there a metallic or carbon hard top. Autoblog says that the roof can be automatically put up or down in about 12 seconds at speeds up to 30 mph.
