Smart Fortwo
DaimlerChrysler has announced that the latest iteration of not-so-successful Smart Fortwo super mini is available to order starting Monday. The tiny vehicle will be delivered as a coupe and a cabrio and will be offered with a choice of four engines, including an oil-burner.

DaimlerChrysler plans to offer two naturally aspirated engines, delivering 61 and 71 horsepower, a turbocharged engine, pumping out 84 bhp. And a CDI diesel engine with a maximum power output of 45 horsepower.

It is, probably, useless to ask, how fast the Fortwo crawls from zero to sixty but its fuel efficiency seems pretty interesting. The turbocharged model takes only 4.9 liter of gasoline per 100 kilometers, while the 61 and 71 hp versions consume only 4.7 liters per 100 km. The diesel model is even more fuel-efficient with its normal consumption of 3.4 liters of diesel fuel.

The new Smart Fortwo will be available in April.
