2009 Dodge Challenger to debut next year
Chrysler has officially started 356 days countdown to show to general public the production version of its 2009 Dodge Challenger. The monster vehicle will be unveiled during the Chicago Auto Show in February next year.
The 2009 Dodge Challenger will probably be based on the current LX platform, shared by Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger. It will be assembled in Canada at Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario assembly plant.
The company still stays mum on the Challenger's technical characteristics and target price but expect rear-wheel drive, manual gearbox, two doors and a starting price of around $31,000.
