German electronics supplier paragon has unveiled in Geneva a preproduction prototype of its first sports car. Designed by famous
Henrik Fisker who has the BMW Z8 and
Aston Martin DB9 coupe on his consciousness, the
Artega GT is a small toy-like sports car, which nevertheless promises not only a decent supply of power but also enough living space for two grown-ups, their kid and even a spacious luggage compartment.

Artega GT will hide under its hood a generous 300hp, 3.6-liter V-6 bought from Volkswagen and mated with its six-speed DSG direct-shift gearbox with inverted stage.
The 1100 kg vehicle made of carbon-fiber composites fitted on aluminum chassis will take less than five seconds to sprint from zero to 60 mph and will reach a top speed of 270 km/h. By the way, to provide the compact tourer with better handling, the engine was mounted horizontally in the rear of the car.
The
Artega GT will be manufactured at
paragon's still to be built production facility in Delbrück and will cost about €75,000.
