Hamann tunes Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

German tuner Hamann has just unveiled its latest take on the beautiful Ferrari 612 Scaglietti GT. Not daring to spoil the Scaglietti's perfect 5.7-liter V12 DOHC engine, Hamann's engineers and designer limited themselves to equipping the car with new aerodynamic kit, wheels, tuned suspension and other minor tweaks.







The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti GT by Hamann now comes with a new front spoiler, new pair of side sills, and a rear spoiler. The company says that both spoilers enhance 612's aerodynamics while at the same time increasing downforce on both axles. All the aerodynamic components may be ordered in either fiberglass or Carbon-Kevlar.

The vehicle's look is further enhanced with the help of new set of 20- or 21-inch Hamann "Edition Race" three-part forged rims. And it will sound nice, too, thanks to the new sport mufflers made from V2A stainless steel and ending with 90mm double-barrel exhaust pipes.

To make it more stable at high speeds (the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti GT features a maximum speed of 320km/h and acceleration from zero to 100km/h of 4.2 seconds), the vehicle was equipped with new chassis spring assembly, which has lowered 612's center of gravity.
