Audi TT Clubsport Quattro design study revealed
Trying to draw some additional attention of the public to its new Audi TT sports coupe, the company from Ingolstadt has created the Audi TT Clubsport Quattro design study, which is essentially the same Audi TT Roadster stripped down of its fat and clothes.
The car, as you can see on the photos, has got both its hood and A-post removed, getting instead a speedster-like wraparound windscreen surrounding the cockpit. Inside the cabin, there are two rollover bars and a pair of humps, reminding of those Auto Union silver monsters that kept dominating German race tracks during 1930s.
Outside, the TT's original single-frame grille is equipped with horizontally aligned aluminum inserts and the Audi's corporate four intercrossed rings has also been moved from the grille to the bonnet like in the good old times. Ordinary headlamps have been substituted with more fashionable LED lights.
Painted Daytona Grey, the Audi TT Clubsport Quattro is motivated by a powerful TFSI engine connecting to the road with new 265/30 R20 tires.
