TechArt Magnum body kit upgraded for the 2008 Porsche Cayenne
German tuner TechArt will use the soon to be opened motor show in Frankfurt to unveil its revised TechArt Magnum personalization program for the refreshed Porsche Cayenne family of SUVs.
When you strike gold, you just can't stop digging. Well, TechArt has certainly found its vein of gold when it created the TechArt Magnum body-kit for the charismatic Porsche Cayenne SUV. The company claims that it has managed to sell around five hundred kits since the time the Magnum was first introduced.
Just like its predecessor, the TechArt Magnum 2.0 consists of wider fender flares adding about 3.15 inches (80 mm) to the vehicle's width, new rocker panels smoothing transition between the wider wheel arches, new front and rear aprons characterized by larger air inlets and an integrated diffuser respectively and a total of four additional auxiliary headlights and daytime running lights.
The picture is finished with a set of moldings for front and rear lights, a new hood that features two air outlets, a stainless-steel sport exhaust system with two chrome tailpipes on either side and a set of TECHART Formula II light-alloy wheels in size 10.5Jx22 in front and in size 11,5Jx22 in the rear. The rims are fitted with the ContiCrossContact UHP tires in sizes 295/30 ZR 22 and 335/25 ZR 22, which are approved on the Cayenne for a top speed of 300 km/h.
The company promises to soon introduce a power upgrade for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo's 4.8L V8 engine increasing its maximum output by 120 hp to impressive 620 hp.
