2008 Land Rover LR2 HSE introduced
Land Rover North America has officially introduced the 2008 Land Rover LR2 HSE premium SUV. You'll notice the Land Rover HSE in the morning traffic with the help of its color-keyed bumpers and side sills, a rear spoiler, titanium door handles and 19-inch aluminum alloys. Inside, the HSE will feature 8x6-way power adjustable seats and a storage box with a sliding cover.
The 2008 Land Rover LR2 HSE will be motivated by a 3.2-liter inline-six engine, mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. The six-pot is capable of developing up to 230 bhp and takes some 8.4 seconds to provide zero to 60 mph acceleration. So, it's definitely not a scram-jet.
Just as the other Land Rovers, the LR2 HSE is equipped with the company's proprietary Terrain Response, permanent intelligent all-wheel-drive system, as well as the new Gradient Release Control working together with Hill Descent Control.
The 2008 Land Rover LR2 HSE will come to dealerships by November 1, 2007. Pricing will hopefully be revealed before that date.
