2008 Dodge Grand Caravan Cargo Van introduced
Working class has just received another powerful and, one must admit, handsomely looking tool. The 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan Cargo Van offers stronger suspension for heavier cargo, dual sliding doors, 143.8 cubic feet of cargo volume space, odor- and stain-resistant cloth fabric, and, what is the most important, lots of cup-holders and storage areas.
With its standard 3.3-liter V6 flex-fuel capable engine, the Cargo Van features impressive (for its size and weight) fuel economy of 17mpg/24mpg in the city and highway cycle respectively. The engine produces 175 hp and 205 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a rather archaic four-speed automatic gearbox.
Other standard features include 16-inch steel wheels, a 20-gallon fuel tank, power front windows and locks, front and rear power outlets, industrial cargo floor and front rubber floor covering, sunscreen glass, halogen headlamps, manual liftgate with single floodlamp, 12-volt power outlets in the instrument panel and rear quarter trim, TPMS, and intermittent front and rear wipers.
There is also an AM/FM/CD/MP3 radio, although I highly doubt it can produce anything close to an audiophile quality of sound.
