2008 Ford Kuga comes to Europe
The 2008 Ford Kuga crossover SUV will soon arrive to European dealerships. Created with Ford Europe's new "Kinetic Design" in mind, the car-based SUV looks absolutely stunning. At least, the front part of it.
The rear part is definitely out of the short-list of the nominees for the Unique Rear Part Design Solution Award, heavily borrowing from other recent mid-size crossovers, like, say, new RAV4, Toyota Vanguard, 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander and Nissan Qashqai / Rogue. For the rest of it, the Kuga looks really beautiful, although a little bit feminine.
The 2008 Ford Kuga will be motivated by Ford's 2.0-liter 136 PS Duratorq TDCi diesel engine mated to a Durashift 6-speed manual transmission. The crossover will be available in either 4WD or FWD. The latter is perfectly OK for the Western Europe, where you may spend your entire life without a chance to see real mud or snow.
