It seems that the new Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Estate will easily match the new Audi RS 6 Avant in terms of performance and definitely beat it in terms of comfort.

Equipped with a powerful 6.3-liter V8 capable of producing 457 hp and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque, the heavy station wagon takes only 4.6 seconds to accelerate from zero to 60 mph and its top speed is electronically limited at 155mph (250km/h).

The engine is mated to AMG's Speedshift 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox, capable of transmitting the power to the wheels in three pre-programmed driving modes "C", "S" and "M". The letters possibly stand for "Comfort", "Sports" and "Manual" or something like that.

AMG makes it easier to tame all this power with the help of large internally ventilated and perforated performance disk brakes, speed-sensitive sports steering and the new 3-stage ESP system. The car may be equipped with either 18-inch or 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels.
