AC Schnitzer ACS5 Sport Touring
German über-tuner AC Schnitzer is going to present its new baby at the Frankfurt motor show next week. The AC Schnitzer ACS5 Sport Touring is based on the latest BMW M5 Touring vehicle, sporting even more power and performance.

The car features an electronically tuned BMW M5's V10 engine breathing easier through a special exhaust manifold, sports catalysts and a twin rear silencer with increased gas flow to keep the exhaust back pressure as low as possible.

So there is no surprise that the AC Schnitzer ACS5 Sport Touring lacks an electronic Vmax delimiter: the company's engineers took too much effort in increasing the wagon's maximum speed from electronically limited 155mph to more impressive 200mph (320 km/h).

To help the driver cope with extra power, AC Schnitzer also replaced original brakes with new 8-pot high performance brake system on the front wheels, fitted it with ground clearance lowering suspension kit and a special aluminum strut brace for the front axle.

Of course, there is also a more muscular body kit, screaming out loud "hey, I've got a V10 under the hood!" The kit consists of new carbon front spoiler, roof-lip spoiler and rear skirt with an integrated carbon diffuser.
