BMW 1-Series will start below $30,000
The long-awaited BMW 1-Series coupe will be sold in the U.S. with six-cylinder engines at a really interesting price. The entry-level BMW 128i equipped with a 230hp engine will start from less than psychologically important $30,000 mark.
The top of the line 2008 BMW 135i, producing up to 300 hp, will have its price tag placed somewhere in the mid-$30,000 area and BMW promises that the cars will feature the same level of quality as much more expensive BMW 3- and 5-Series are known for.
Although a little bit too small for my taste, the car is far, far away from being a "cutie".
