Farbio GTS: welcome to the waiting list
British Farbio has announced its new Farbio GTS supercar. Available in both 'normal' and a Supercharged versions, the coupe will cost £59,925 and £71,675 respectively. And you'll have to wait about eight months to get the car in your garage.
With its body made of carbon fiber and fitted on a space framed chassis, the car weighs in about 1066kgs for the Supercharged model and 1048kgs for the entry-level Farbio GTS. And, being equipped with either 262bhp normally aspirated engine or 384bhp Rotrex Supercharged motor, the cars feature impressive power-to-weight ratio of 250bhp per ton and 360bhp per ton respectively.
No wonder that the Farbio GTS takes only 4.8 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100km/h, while more powerful Farbio GTS Supercharged reaches the same speed limit in about 3.9 seconds.
All models, Farbio is reporting in its press release, are equipped with AP Racing brakes with Four Pot Calipers, 350mm vented front discs and 328mm rear, fully adjustable suspension with Eibach coil-over springs and Sparco reclining seats capable of fitting a 6'6" (1.98m) driver.
