Yet another member of the growing
Renault Clio RS family has been unveiled. The
'World Series by Renault' Clio Renault Sport Edition small hatchback was officially presented to the public last weekend at the famous Magny-Cours track.
The car,
Renault is reporting in its press release, is motivated by the 16-valve 2-liter normally aspirated engine. Capable of producing 200 horsepower and 215 Nm of torque, the engine is mated to a
TL4 six-speed gearbox.
The
Clio's top speed is reached at a pretty much frightening for such a small vehicle 223 km/h.
The
'World Series by Renault' Clio Renault Sport will reach U.K. show rooms by September 30, 2007 and will be available in France, Spain and Italy by October 28.
The hot hatchback will be available in France at a price of €21,900.
