L322-based Arden Range Rover AR7
German tuning specialist Arden keeps on experimenting with the new L322 Range Rover. This time they took Jaguar's 400 hp 4.4-liter engine, tinkered with it a little and then successfully transplanted it into the SUV in question.
The engine's displacement, company is reporting, has been increased from 4.4 to more appealing 4.5 liters getting the maximum power output raised from 440 to 480 horsepower with the torque skyrocketing to 680 Nm (501 lb-ft).
With these modifications, the executive SUV now takes only 6.5 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h and its top speed is now reached at ambitious 240 km/h (just don't try to reach it off the paved road).
Just like it was with the last-year's SportAR6 Stronger, Arden also offers a wide body kit with new front bumper fascia with additional air vents, stainless-steel grille, and LED daytime running lights. There is also a set of wheel arch extensions, side skirts and new rear apron.
The tuned Arden Range Rover AR7 may also be ordered with either 22- or 23-inch three-part forged wheels.
