Aston Martin DB9 Sports Pack in the works

Aston Martin DB9 sports coupe will soon be equipped with a new Sports Pack that will let an average James Bond to squeeze some more kilometers per hour from his baby.



Edmunds.com says that the Aston Martin DB9 Sports Pack, which will be available in July, consists of a new five-spoke forged-aluminium wheels and a revised suspension.

Classic Driver additionally reports that the kit allows for a reduction of 5 per cent in the usprung weight on each corner of the car. Although being the same size as standard, the new wheels will be 1 kilo lighter.

The kit will allow to lower DB9's ride by six millimeters. Combined with better front stabilizer bar, stiffer springs and recalibrated dampers, the Sports Pack will hopefully provide the Aston Martin DB9 with a more precise steering and improved body control.
