2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee: Concentrated luxury

The 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee full-size SUV comes packed with features making it a good competitor to current BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7, new Mercedes-Benz M-Class and other luxurious gas-guzzlers.







Unlike the typical members of Detroit rolling iron club, even some luxury ones, the new SUV, according to Chrysler, will be available with soft to touch dashboard materials and better interior textures. The steering column will provide tilt and telescope adjustments so that nothing prevents you from enjoying the new instrument cluster.

The 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and Overland trims will also come to you fitted with leather-wrapped parking brake handles. The Overland will also get additional leather package on seats, doors and the dashboard. Those dwelling in the cold climate regions will probably like its new heated second row seats as well as MyGIG infotainment system with its MP3 playability, Bluetooth connectivity, 20GB integrated hard drive (an SSD drive would be even better, though) and DVD player.

Minor exterior upgrades include new headlamp design and refreshed front fascia and corporate grille.

Company also promises that there will soon be new, even more luxurious, S-Limited trim to the Grand Cherokee range. The model will be additionally equipped with original 18-inch alloys, SRT body-colored wire mesh front grille and body-colored rear view mirrors, rear spoiler and privacy glass.
